About the event
Join us for Qigong & Mind Body Balancing in a beautiful private garden setting. Please note that this is a women’s only event.
Qigong it’s an ancient eastern practice that combines slow, flowing movement with mindful breathing, visualisation & meditation to clear away stagnation & bring in fresh life force energy into the body, mind & emotions. This first half of the session will be led by wellness mentor Tammy Bux. The majority of the practice is done standing with small amounts of sitting.
Tammy Bux is a TEDx speaker & certified yoga instructor, trained in Medical Qigong at Breathe Together Yoga, Compassion & Meditation at Stanford University & Consciousness & Healing at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. Tammy provides a thoughtful & caring environment, with an inclusive approach to her teaching, that makes her classes accessible to a variety of age groups & abilities. She guides her students to cultivate resilience & practice compassion, empowering them to discover well-being within.
Mind Body Balancing combines the principles of traditional eastern medicine and philosophy, modern neuroscience and state of the art mind/body/consciousness techniques. While you are in a comfortable position, resting & relaxing, Deby Beaty will intuitively facilitate Mind Body balancing that will relieve stress and bring the body, mind and spirit into harmony.
Deby Beaty is a licensed massage therapist, certified Accunect Practitioner and trained in Reiki. Over 20 years practicing bodywork, Deby has developed an intuitive approach to her sessions. Her passion is to promote healing on mental, emotional and spiritual levels as well as physically. More details are available on her website https://www.joyfulshift.com
All you need is a yoga mat, bottle of water & wear layers as body temperature can drop at the end of the class.
